This position partners with four W’SANEC Health Directors, advocating for their communities. As part of an on-reserve team, you will work alongside Nurse Practitioners, Indigenous Wellness Supports, and Mental Health Counsellors within the Saanich Peninsula Primary Care Network. Your role will encompass cutting-edge healthcare delivery in various communities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive opioid agonist treatment for patients
• Collaborate with community services and health providers
• Engage with Indigenous patients and families directly




• Implement culturally safe health practices and trauma-informed care
• Participate in after-hours patient follow-ups and assessments

Requirements:
• Experience working with First Nations communities
• Strong commitment to anti-racist healthcare practices
• Knowledge of Indigenous wellness and worldviews
• Ability to engage with community needs effectively
• Willingness to learn from Indigenous perspectives
