In this role at Artemis Gold, you will play an essential part in ensuring effective dewatering practices at the Blackwater Mine located in British Columbia. With a fixed-term contract in place, ideal candidates will bring 1-3 years of relevant experience in open pit hard-rock mining and expertise in maintaining pumps and associated systems. Your contributions will help drive successful project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain dewatering pumps and associated equipment
• Train and mentor junior operators on site
• Diagnose issues and coordinate necessary repairs
• Monitor site water levels for effective drainage
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
• 1-3 years dewatering experience required
• Robust background in pump operations and troubleshooting
• Flexible to remote camp conditions on a rotation
• High school diploma preferred
• Familiarity with HDPE fusion or poly welding a bonus
