Role Description The Truckload Dispatch role is a full-time, in office position based in Georgetown, ON. The individual in this role coordinates daily truckload operations, including assigning loads to drivers, planning routes, and monitoring shipment progress to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams, resolving service issues, and updating load status in dispatch systems. The role also involves managing schedules, verifying documentation, optimizing equipment utilization, and supporting compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The dispatcher is expected to maintain accurate records,



respond to changing conditions, and contribute to efficient and cost-effective transport operations.

Qualifications

- Experience in truckload dispatch, transportation coordination, or logistics operations, preferably in a trucking or freight environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple loads, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Proficiency with dispatch or transportation management systems, basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets), and comfort working with digital records.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities to manage service disruptions, route changes, and load adjustments while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of trucking regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and basic safety practices; prior experience in North American routes is an asset.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and data entry.
- Ability to work on-site in Georgetown, ON, with a reliable work ethic, flexibility for operational needs, and a commitment to teamwork.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience in dispatch or fleet operations within a multi-service transport group is considered beneficial
