Research market values and review documentation to ensure fair and equitable settlements.

Complete required paperwork and regulatory searches related to total loss settlements.

Review DPI estimates for accuracy, including pricing, parts, and labour.

Ensure correct usage of OEM versus aftermarket parts and review independent appraisals when used.

Confirm estimates align with the details of loss by comparing photos, estimate details, and adjuster information.

Address inconsistencies with body shops and vendors by problem-solving and resolving disputes.

Work closely with Adjusters to maintain strong claims handling practices and support timely claim resolution.

Maintain clear, skilled communication to support the full claims lifecycle.

Requirements

Experience in auto claims, appraising, estimating, or a related insurance or automotive role.

Strong knowledge of vehicle repair estimates, parts, and labour pricing.

Experience reviewing documentation, photos, and estimates to support accurate claim decisions.

Confidence in negotiation and settlement discussions, particularly related to total loss vehicles.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.





Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Comfort working in estimating and claims systems and adapting to new tools and processes.

The ability to manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
