Duties And Responsibilities Supervision and Coordination:
Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials.
Follow schedules and supervise packaging staff, ensuring instructions are followed.
Motivate staff, resolve issues, and maintain open lines of communication between employees and management.
Oversee training and development of staff, including department cross-training and new policy announcements
Production Management:
Study production orders to determine the type and quantity of products, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements.
Evaluate each station of the production process to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
Responsible for meeting production goals and deadlines.
Logistics and Inventory:
Assist with the logistics of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Manage inventory and ensure the movement of material throughout the plant.
Operations and Machinery:
Lift, assemble, pack, and label products as required for manufacturing operations.
Operate machinery such as manufacturing equipment, pallet jacks, and inventory systems.




Communicate equipment issues and work with Maintenance teams on root cause analysis and timely resolution
Safety and Compliance:
Follow safety procedures and coordinate with logistics.
Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
Quality Control:
Inspect products being produced regularly to prevent rework and quality issues.
Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.
Ensure proper utilization of employees, materials, and equipment resources.
Required Qualifications 3+ years in a supervisory capacity, preferably within manufacturing.
Previous experience in logistics and inventory management.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team environment and possess good interpersonal/communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all members of a diverse team.
Solid planning and resource allocation skills.
