Wood's Homes is seeking four full-time or part-time Youth & Family Counsellors who will play a vital role in empowering youth ages 6-17 facing emotional and social challenges. In the Wheatland Program, you will engage in case management and therapeutic support alongside a dedicated team, ensuring a nurturing and safe setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead therapeutic case management for clients and families
• Create a supportive and structured therapeutic workplace
• Teach essential daily life skills to youth
• Collaborate on individual care plans and goals
• Manage crisis situations professionally and effectively
Requirements:
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
• Degree in Social Sciences or related field preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with vulnerable populations is an asset
