In this key role, you will report to the Director of Mental Health & Substance Use, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and improved outcomes for patients. The Clinical Resource Leader (Mental Health Nurse Educator) will leverage over 5 years of relevant clinical leadership to design impactful educational programs, engage staff in safe practices, and support cutting-edge changes in mental health care delivery. This role is essential for developing staff competencies and ensuring high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design educational programs enhancing clinical practice
• Conduct staff evaluations and orientation programs
• Promote evidence-based practices for patient safety
• Collaborate on change initiatives in mental health
• Support the development of a healthy workplace culture
Requirements:
• RN with a valid Ontario Certificate of Competence preferred
• Experience in acute care mental health leadership
• Proven knowledge of adult learning principles
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Strong project management and change leadership capabilities
