In the Regional Dementia Care Program, you will be integral to assessing and treating older adults with various symptoms and medical complexities. Your role will involve understanding best practices for assessment and integrating behavior management techniques. Experience with Montessori Methods for Dementia and applications of trauma-informed care is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for older adults in dementia care
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in nursing programs
• Apply Gentle Persuasive Approach in daily care




• Maintain accurate and advanced documentation in care plans
• Ensure safety and prevention in health care practices

Requirements:
• Current Certificate from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent Basic Life Support certification
• Knowledge of progressive dementia care practices
• Creative application of Personhood in interactions
• Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
