This position will have you working closely with the Integrity Commissioner and staff, offering comprehensive legal guidance while managing lobbyist registrations and integrity investigations. It’s an opportunity for a qualified lawyer to apply their skills in a pivotal role affecting public service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on all aspects of the office's legal functions
• Support lobbyist registration and disclosure of wrongdoing
• Prepare investigation plans and conduct witness interviews
• Research legal principles and draft necessary documentation
• Analyze legal reforms and monitor regulatory changes
Requirements:
• Law degree and Ontario legal qualification with 5 years of experience
• Understanding of relevant legislation
• Experience in regulatory investigations
• Solid analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency with database and information systems
