Responsibilities

- Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and explaining all problems and options to clients
- Collaborating with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals
- Responding to, diagnosing, and resolving plumbing emergencies
- Following building plans and blueprints
- Performing routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems
- Preparing budgets and cost estimates
- Keeping accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used
- Training apprentices and helpers
- Performing all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations
- Adhering to all federal, provincial, municipal and city plumbing codes
- Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

- A Licensed Plumber with 2-3 years of experience
- Experience with Residential Plumbing work is an asset




- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work together as part of a team alongside other technicians (e.g., electricians, framers, etc.)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawing
- Valid G Driving License and clean driving record
- Ability to be available on call during weekends and on holidays as required

Additional Information

Annual salary range: $70,000 - $110,000.
