As a key member of the maintenance team, the Warranty Coordinator will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the Horizon Mine Maintenance business unit by maximizing warranty recoveries as well as assisting in the tracking and return of all component cores. You will participate in the overall management of any vendor parts supply programs and provide critical inputs for the mine maintenance forecast.
Job location: Horizon Oil Sands - Fort McMurray, Alberta
Shift schedule: 4 x 3, 10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday) *

Key Accountabilities Work with the maintenance planning team to identify component cores and warranty items associated with planned maintenance work orders in Maximo CMMS
Liaise with maintenance execution teams for the identification and capture of any component cores and warranty items associated with unplanned work
Create warranty claim forms and collect all relevant data related to expected warranty claims
Submit all warranty claim forms and required documentation to vendors, and work with vendors to bring claims to resolution
Track and report on all outstanding warranty claims and missing or damaged component cores
What You Bring To The Role 5+ years of related industry experience
Materials management or maintenance planning experience in a mine setting is considered an asset
Interprovincial Red Seal Trade Certificate, Technical Diploma, University Degree or equivalent
