The Field Equipment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting MEMS field operations by ensuring equipment, vehicles, and supplies are accurately tracked,maintained, and available to meet project needs. Working closely with field staff, project teams, and the Business Operations teamacross multiple office and project locations, the role also supports equipment cost recovery, project billing, and operational reporting through the maintenance ofaccuraterecords and inventory systems. This 100% onsite position is based in Calgary, Alberta. This position is available to be part time or full-time.
Key Responsibilities EquipmentTracking,Provisioning and Maintenance Update andmaintainthe asset inventory system to ensureaccuratetracking of field equipment
Identify and source equipment and vehiclesrequiredto undertake a variety of projects
Provision safety and field equipment to MEMS offices in Sherwood Park, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Saskatoon,Guelphand remote locations
Inspect equipment as per MEMS Policies and Procedures
Responsible for lockout/tag out of any equipment or vehicles that are not in safe or suitable working order
Arrange field equipment maintenance, calibration,repairor replacement
Organize andmaintainequipment storage facilities, ensuring equipment, tools, and supplies areproperly stored, clearlyidentified, and readily accessible for field operations
Business OperationsAdministration Prepare, update, andmaintainspreadsheets, databases, and reports to support equipment tracking, budgeting, and operational decision-making
Reconcile equipment costs with projectuseand supportaccurateproject billing and cost recovery processes
other duties as assigned.
What You Bring Post-secondary educationrequired(preferably inBusiness, Commerce,Supply Chain, Logistics,or related field)
Clear, concise, and organized communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and listening skills
Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
Ability to develop collaborative working relationships across departments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Strong technical writing skills
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnnew technologyand skills
Working Conditions: Normal office environment that requires sitting for extended periods of time
Prolonged exposure to computer keyboards and computer screens
Manual dexterityrequiredto use laptop and peripherals
Sometimes requires long hours of work
Required to walk, stand, climb, bend forward,kneel down, crawl, reach and grasp, push and pull objects, lift and/or move up to 30 kg, sometimes over the shoulders, repetitive bending and lifting of items, along with repetitive arm movements
some travel to other MEMS offices may berequiredon occasion
