Shift Schedule: Full-time, with specific hours detailed in the Employment Contract.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure timely availability of materials/parts and services, maintaining quality standards.
- Accurate accounting and usage tracking of all materials.
- Effective handling of Purchase Orders through Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Analyze MRP reports and oversee warranty claims with vendors.
- Address Purchase Order/Invoice discrepancies and generate manual Purchase Orders for shop floor.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships,
along with preparing and managing RFP/RFQs.
- Coordinate deliveries, engage with cross-functional teams, and contribute to organizational goals.
- Maintain workplace health and safety standards and adhere to company policies.
- Regular reporting and various additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Purchasing Management Association of Canada Certification II or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in purchasing.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid knowledge of purchasing practices, excellent organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and effectively manage time.
Physical Work Demands: Regular need to stand, walk, or sit; use hands for computers and office equipment; and sufficient vision and hearing.
