Job Title: Recruitment / HR Generalist (Part-Time, Contractor)

Location: Remote

Hours: Part-Time (10–20 hours/week)

Reports to: CEO

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptableRecruitment / HR Generalist to support our growing team. This part-time contractor role will focus on both strategic and hands-on HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a robust HR background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a agile, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment (60%)

- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers for all our clients in multiple industries.
- Collaborate with client hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job descriptions.
- Post job advertisements on various platforms and manage applicant tracking systems.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.

HR Generalist Duties (40%)

- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
- Provide guidance to contractors and employees on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee relations.
- Monitor contractor timesheets, contracts, and renewals.
- Stay up to date with employment laws and HR best practices in relevant jurisdictions.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in recruitment and generalist HR functions.
- Familiarity with employment legislation across Canada and/or the U.S. is a strong asset.




- Experience working as an independent contractor.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities independently and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

- HR Degree, Bachelor or Diploma from an accredited university.
- Experience supporting HR in a remote or hybrid workforce.
- Background in HR consulting or agency settings.
- Flexible schedule; schedule may vary based on needs.
- Hourly rate: $28.00
- Contractor is responsible for own taxes, insurance, and equipment.
