Reporting to the location's Supervisor, your focus will be to perform a wide variety of MIG production welding and fabrication at our facility while ensuring production goals are achieved without compromising safety, quality or efficiency. Our Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To
- Work one of the following shifts with a starting hourly rate of $24.03:
- 8‑hour shift: Monday‑Friday either:
- Days 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Afternoons 3:30 pm – 12:00 am
- 10‑hour shift: Monday‑Thursday
- Days 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Evenings 4:30 pm – 3:00 am
- 12‑hour shift: Friday‑Sunday
- Days 7:00 am – 8:00 pm (paid 1 hour break, which includes coffee breaks too)
- Provide a criminal background check by uploading it in "Attachment Documents" when uploading a resume or at the time of interview.
- Work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with extremely hot materials while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
- Operate MIG welding equipment to fuse metal segments using MIG processes.
- Set up parts and weld machine parameters according to blueprint and work specifications.
- Use other equipment and power tools as needed.
- Follow setup and inspection procedures.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean and secure work area.
- Perform other duties as the supervisor deems necessary.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma (or GED).
- Minimum 1‑2 years of working experience as a welder.
- Skilled training courses on welding can be considered as an alternative for experience.
- Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings (blueprints) and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to set up welding equipment on your own.
- Capable of using measuring instruments, gauges, etc. to check weld quality and parts.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
