As a contract part-time employee, you will work on an on-call basis, beginning on August 17, 2026. Your responsibilities will include implementing swim lesson plans, conducting safety checks, and maintaining participant records. Collaboration with program members will enhance their experience and help guide them through additional offerings available at the YMCA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver structured swim lessons based on individual learning styles
• Enforce pool conduct guidelines to maintain a safe environment
• Set up, take down,



and inspect all necessary equipment
• Complete attendance records and communicate progress effectively
• Participate actively in YMCA meetings and special events
Requirements:
• Lifesaving Society certifications required
• Experience in swim instruction preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Adaptable availability for varied shifts
• Ability to work inclusively with diverse populations
