The City of Lethbridge is offering a full-time seasonal Pipelayer position with responsibilities focused on the installation and corrective actions for sewer and water mains. Preference is given to those with certifications from Alberta Workplace. From setting up road closures to supporting foreman duties, this role is pivotal in maintaining community services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute installation and repair of sewer systems
• Manage equipment and set road closures
• Drive service truck for necessary services
• Support foreman and oversee labourer performance
• Conduct a variety of related tasks at job sites
Requirements:
• Completed high school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year’s relevant experience required
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with Q endorsement
• Class 3 Q license considered an asset
• Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
