This part time position is around 0.5 FTE, with classes held full days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and scheduled Fridays. École Rocky Elementary serves a diverse student body in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, promoting both English and French language acquisition. You will become part of a passionate team of educators dedicated to the growth and learning of around 250 students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate French immersion learning experiences for kindergarten children
• Engage students with interactive and fun lesson plans
• Evaluate individual student development and learning
• Support parental communication and engagement
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff on curriculum development
Requirements:
• Current Alberta teaching certification
• Background in early childhood education and French immersion
• Recent criminal record check with vulnerable sector
