Become a vital member of the ʔaq̓amnik̓ School community as a School Bus Driver. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety of students during transportation to and from school and field trips.
We are looking for a dedicated School Bus Driver committed to maintaining vehicle safety and functionality. This role requires performing mechanical inspections, ensuring proper maintenance, and overseeing vehicle cleanliness. Completing CPR and First Aid certifications is essential for the safety of our young passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate school bus for students' transportation
• Perform basic mechanical inspections and manage repairs
• Conduct vehicle safety checks before each trip
• Ensure bus cleanliness and refuel as needed
• Educate students on safety rules and supervise adherence
Requirements:
• Valid Class 2 driver’s license and air brake endorsement
• Completion of specialized bus driver training
• Clean driver’s abstract required
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Transportation industry experience is beneficial
