We are partnering with one of Canada's premier, independent professional services and consulting firms to find a high-impact Senior Financial Analyst for a 12-month contract.

If you are looking for a traditional, transactional accounting role, this isn't it. This is a highly strategic, forward-looking position reporting directly to the CFO . You will sit at the intersection of corporate finance, data analytics, and digital transformation, driving business insights and optimizing our financial systems (specifically Workday) to support firmwide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic FP&A; & Modelling: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate strategic priorities.
- CFO Advisory & Reporting: Partner closely with the CFO to prepare executive-level reporting, performance insights, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Finance Transformation & Systems Optimization: Act as the functional expert for Finance systems. Build, refine, and optimize workflows, planning cycles, and approvals within Workday Financials / Workday Adaptive Planning .
- Data & Analytics: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and management reporting using Excel and Power BI to improve data visibility and quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Payroll, People & Culture, and Operations to streamline data flows, automate repetitive processes,



and enhance reporting efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

- Experience: 5-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A;, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
- Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience with Workday Financials, Workday Adaptive Planning , or a closely related enterprise EPM/ERP system is highly desirable.
- Technical Skillset: Advanced financial modelling capabilities alongside strong reporting proficiency in Excel and Power BI .
- Transformation Mindset: A track record of supporting process improvements, system implementations, or finance automation initiatives.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to collaborate effectively with the CFO and senior stakeholders.

Education & Designations

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA designation is highly preferred (or actively working toward completion).
- CFA designation is considered a robust asset.
