Reporting to the Director of Quality and Professional Development, you will prepare and coach regulated and unregulated staff to enhance their skills. Your role will involve the development of educational materials while ensuring staff competencies meet industry standards and regulations affecting healthcare. Your contributions will ensure residents receive secure and ethical care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead training for caregivers in diverse settings
• Create and revise educational resources
• Coach staff in clinical practice
• Assist in compliance with healthcare legislation
• Support ongoing staff competency through skills updates
Requirements:
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse registration
• Experience working with elderly populations (3-5 years)
• Adult education teaching experience (3-5 years)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Clear Criminal Records Check before employment
