Shape safe drug therapy as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Northern Zone, Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. This full time role blends supervision with patient-oriented pharmacy services.

As a key member of the Clinical Pharmacy Services team, you will report to the Manager and oversee drug distributions, while resolving drug-related issues. You will conduct drug regimen reviews, provide medication reconciliation, and lead patient education initiatives. Your experience and knowledge will ensure effective medication management in both inpatient and outpatient settings, enhancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee drug distribution systems for safety and efficacy
• Provide clinical pharmacy services and medication reconciliation
• Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring for effective therapy




• Deliver patient education and conduct group teaching sessions
• Collaborate with the medical team for therapeutic recommendations

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
• Eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator
• Minimum two years clinical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of drugs and effective communication skills
• BLS certification required
