Become a Gladue Pathways Support Navigator with MKO in Thompson, The Pas, or Winnipeg. Engage with Indigenous families in the criminal justice system to support healing and wellness.

This full-time term position seeks frontline professionals dedicated to assisting Indigenous individuals and their communities. With a focus on trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices, you will prepare Gladue Reports and individualized Healing & Wellness Plans. Collaborate with First Nations, leaders, and service providers to promote accountability and community-based justice principles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interviews to gather life histories and justice involvement
• Facilitate access to community resources, including mental health services
• Prepare Gladue Reports for judicial consideration




• Collaborate with Elders and community leaders for culturally appropriate plans
• Monitor the implementation of Healing & Wellness Plans

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Experience in justice sector or restorative justice programs
• Knowledge of Gladue principles and Indigenous service practices
• Proven ability to create trauma-informed environments
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
