Shape the future of drug evaluation as a Pharmacist in Nova Scotia Health’s Drug Evaluation Unit in Halifax. Develop strategies and reports to support provincial drug formulary decisions.

Under the guidance of the pharmacy leadership, you will engage in evidence-informed evaluations impacting drug policy. Your role includes preparing appraisals for drug decisions, advising committees, and supporting initiative education. Expect collaboration with medical professionals and some travel for presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct economic analyses and evaluate drugs
• Present major findings to advisory committees
• Collaborate with specialists on report-related issues
• Develop educational materials supporting drug decisions




• Coordinate processes for Atlantic Common Drug Review

Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized School of Pharmacy
• Preferred 2 years direct hospital pharmacy experience
• Registration eligibility with Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator
• Experience in drug information and literature appraisal
• Solid teaching experience and communication skills
