Main Responsibilities

Its responsibilities cover the complete life cycle of suppliers' aeronautical products across all aeronautical programs:
Represent Manufacturing Engineering within Procurement's multifunctional teams (Procurement MFT), providing technical expertise, support for supplier selection (tenders), and supplier capability studies.
Monitor and support suppliers on new industrializations, Transfers of Work with APQP Key Business Deliverables evaluations.
Ensure the application of the FU.IN.06 process and reference documents by the operational Manufacturing Engineering teams.
Minimize industrial risks at suppliers, guarantee industrial performance and competitiveness by fostering innovation and process improvement.
Eradicate non-quality (non-conformities, concessions).

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.

Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (significant asset).

Training or certification in APQP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or supplier management (asset).

Experience

Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in an aeronautical manufacturing environment.





Significant experience in industrialization, manufacturing of aeronautical structures, or supply chain management.

Participation in production transfers (Transfer of Work) or new product introduction (NPI).

Experience in evaluating and monitoring APQP Key Business Deliverables.

Technical skills

Good knowledge of major aeronautical structures (fuselage, wings, empennages, doors, structural panels, etc.).

Mastery of industrialization and ramp-up processes.

In-depth knowledge of aeronautical quality processes:
APQP

PPAP

FAI (AS9102)

AS9100

Management of non-conformities and concessions

Experience in industrial risk analysis and mitigation plan.

Good understanding of procurement processes and tenders.

Ability to conduct industrial capacity assessments at suppliers.

Knowledge of continuous improvement methods (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of SAP, Skywise, or PLM tools is an asset.
