Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) seeks a detail-oriented Student Education Coordinator to enhance our provincial education model. Work hybrid in Calgary, coordinate student placements, and manage onboarding for future laboratory professionals.

In this role, you will report to the Student Education Lead while collaborating closely with the Quality Management System & Education Manager. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating placements across laboratory sites, managing onboarding processes, and acting as a resource for clinical sites and institutions. You will work independently, supporting relationships across stakeholder groups to foster student educational success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate student placements across multiple laboratory sites




• Manage onboarding processes for current students
• Support clinical sites and post-secondary institutions
• Utilize the learning management system effectively
• Develop relationships with students and various stakeholders

Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited MLT program
• Active or eligible for CMLTA registration
• Three years of experience in a medical laboratory
• Advanced Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
