We're looking for a heavy equipment journeyman to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment, either in our well-equipped shop or through our mobile service unit.
Pay: $40 - $60 Per Hour

Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems on heavy equipment (Mostly on highway)
Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes of equipment failures
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to efficiently diagnose and repair problems (Insite/Davie/DDL/ET/ServiceRanger etc.)
Collaborate with parts department to ensure timely access to necessary parts
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Document all repairs and maintenance performed on customer equipment
Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following all company safety protocols
May be required to perform test drives and road assessments




Requirements Red Seal Certification as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent provincial certification
Minimum 5 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) without assistance
Valid driver's license
Shift Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week
8AM-5PM Monday-Friday
Overtime will be expected to finish time sensitive tasks if needed
