Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing Specialist tosupport enterprise-scale technology initiatives through comprehensive qualityassurance and testing services. The successful candidate will be responsiblefor developing testing strategies, planning and executing testing activities,and ensuring the quality and reliability of complex software solutions.

Key Responsibilities Provideguidance on testing strategies, test plans, testing tool selection, andresource requirements.

Plan,organize, and coordinate testing efforts for large-scale systems in bothGUI and non-GUI environments.

Executesystems integration testing, specialized testing, and user acceptancetesting activities, including stress testing.

Developand maintain test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test data.

Executetesting across various system components and validate functional andnon-functional requirements.

Collaboratewith testing leads, IT leads, project teams, and stakeholders throughoutanalysis, design, development, implementation, and ongoing support phases.

Supportuser acceptance testing (UAT) activities and coordinate businessvalidation efforts.

Createtesting strategy documentation, testing reports, and quality assuranceartifacts.

Participatein all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Identify,document, track, and support resolution of defects and quality issues.

Qualifications Core Skills and Experience (40%) 10+years of experience in software testing within enterprise-level ITenvironments and large-scale systems.





Hands-onexperience with both manual testing and automated testingtools/frameworks.

Experiencedeveloping and planning automated testing solutions.

Deepunderstanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies.

Extensiveexperience with AODA testing and compliance requirements.

Experiencecreating and maintaining testing strategies, test cases, scripts, andreports.

Experiencewith test automation tools such as Selenium and/or Postman for APItesting.

Experiencewith performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.

Experienceusing defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similarplatforms.

Provenexperience performing end-to-end testing of complex systems, coveringfunctional and non-functional requirements.

Knowledgeof quality assurance compliance standards and security testing bestpractices.

Technical Skills and Experience (35%) Strongunderstanding of relational databases such as SQL and Oracle.

Knowledgeof cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.

Experiencewith CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitLab.

Soft Skills (20%) Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.

Excellentinterpersonal and collaboration abilities.

Demonstratedability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Stronganalytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Abilityto work under pressure, manage aggressive timelines,



and adapt to changingpriorities.

Public Sector Experience (5%) Knowledgeof Ontario Public Service quality assurance standards and practices.

Additional Desired Skills Experiencewith at least one programming language.

Experienceusing information retrieval packages.

Understandingof testing methodologies in object-oriented environments.

Knowledgeof Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.

Knowledgeof Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards andregulations.

Experienceplanning and organizing testing efforts for both large and small systems.

Experiencedeveloping automated test scripts and automated test suites.

Experiencetesting Commercial Off-The-Shell (COTS) applications.

Work Arrangement Hybridrole requiring 5 days onsite as required by project needs.
