Your work will be vital in assessing and addressing the needs of children and families involved in the child welfare system. The Family Service Worker collaborates with community members and utilizes culturally appropriate frameworks to empower families and ensure their safety and resilience. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct culturally competent assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement family service plans
• Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration for case management
• Engage in effective crisis intervention strategies
• Monitor child welfare cases and update support plans
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work or relevant experience
• At least 3 years in child welfare or related services
• Comprehensive understanding of Indigenous cultures
• Robust analytical and assessment skills
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours
