Provide preventative maintenance to the production equipment and building
Ensure that the equipment and production lines run in an efficient manner
Communicate with the Production team and coordinate inventory of parts and supplies
Evaluate and analyze opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
Maintain a secure work workplace within the site and on each job

Required skills
2 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment repairing equipment such as conveyors, pumps,compressors, fans,blowers, electrical motors and gearbox
Excellent troubleshooting skills such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Knowledge of electrical systems and/or PLC troubleshooting
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics - an asset
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Language skills: bilinguals in French and English
