Be a key player at NTPC as a Journeyman Diesel Mechanic in Inuvik, NT. Your role will focus on mechanical services for diesel and natural gas generators and support systems.

In this position, you will apply your journeyperson skills to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of diesel and gas engines, including CAT and Volvo. You'll oversee routine upkeep, conduct inspections, and adhere to safety protocols while working in a team setting. This job will also require repairing wind turbine machinery and managing workload priorities in group meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair various diesel and natural gas generators
• Perform inspections and preventive measures at satellite plants

Requirements:
• Certification as Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/Technician
• Five years of experience in diesel engine repair
• Class 5 driver's license required
• Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams
• Solid problem-solving and communication abilities
