Role Description The Power Systems Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in St John’s, NL. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing service work for power systems equipment, including scheduling jobs, preparing work orders, and liaising between customers, technicians, and internal departments. The Service Advisor communicates with customers to understand service needs, provide estimates, and offer status updates, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical information, entering and tracking service data in company systems,



and supporting warranty and parts processes. The role also contributes to safety and quality standards, assists with continuous improvement initiatives, and supports the overall efficiency of the service department.
Qualifications Knowledge of power systems, engines, generators, or related mechanical/electrical equipment, with the ability to interpret technical information and service documentation.
Experience in service coordination, customer support, or advisory roles within industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple service requests and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as service management tools, ERP systems, and standard office applications.
Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers, technicians, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, in office service environment.
Relevant education in engineering technology, power systems, mechanics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Previous experience with Caterpillar products or dealership operations is an asset; bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered beneficial.
