Support the well-being of community members as a Landscaping and Maintenance Worker in the First Nations. This casual role focuses on repairs and upkeep of facilities in your area.
Working under the direction of the Property & Maintenance Manager, you will address various maintenance tasks in homes and offices, ensuring a safe and functional workplace. Your hands-on experience with tools and equipment will be vital in performing repairs and inspections. Strong communication skills will help you effectively collaborate with the community and your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on buildings and equipment
• Perform routine checks and preventative measures
• Assist in securing and transporting furniture as needed




• Complete maintenance logs and reports on time
• Travel to northern communities for maintenance duties
Requirements:
• Training in trades like plumbing or carpentry is advantageous
• Experience with maintenance tools and equipment
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and work at heights
• Valid driver's license and background checks needed
