Job Description

Elementary Teacher teaching Physical Education, Art, Music, Computers and Title I at St Mary's Elementary School. ELL position at Sault Area Public Schools.

Job Goal: Elevate the academic and social/emotional skills of students.

Delivers instruction aligned to the Board-approved curriculum, fostering students' knowledge, skills, and positive learning attitudes. Maintains clear behavior expectations to support a productive classroom. Assesses student progress and collaborates with staff to address academic and behavioral needs.

Engages in ongoing professional development, contributes to curriculum initiatives, and supports school programs and activities. Communicates regularly with parents and colleagues about student progress and participates in committees and student organizations.

Qualifications

Requires a valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate.
