Actively recruit for the role of School Wellness Specialist under the Government of Yukon. Dedicated professionals will provide counseling, case management, and crisis support to enhance educational experiences for students. You will work alongside the Kaska Dena First Nation to ensure that supportive services are culturally relevant and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver assessments and individual counseling to students
• Collaborate with Kaska Dena community and various stakeholders
• Facilitate social-emotional support programs for youth




• Establish mentorship opportunities and support systems
• Actively promote family and community engagement in education
Requirements:
• Proven experience in social work or related services
• Training in Critical Incident Stress Response and Restorative practices
• Knowledge of First Nation cultures and partnership models
• Valid driver's license necessary
• Registered or eligible as a Social Worker in Canada
