As a Supervisor at Peel Region Long Term Care, you will oversee a dedicated team within the Activation and Volunteer Services department. This is a contract full time role where you will mentor staff in person-centred care while managing social, therapeutic, and recreational programs. Your leadership will ensure a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop departmental goals focused on person-centred care
• Manage the business office and ensure accurate financial processes
• Plan and evaluate comprehensive activation programs for residents




• Facilitate collaboration with community outreach agencies
• Monitor resident satisfaction and address concerns proactively

Requirements:
• Degree in recreation, therapeutic recreation, or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in long-term care settings
• Knowledge of program development principles
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
