What you’ll do
As an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright),you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.

Your day-to-day:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair corrugators, die cutters, flexographic printers, folder-gluers, and conveyor systems.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.

Conduct precision alignments, belt/chain adjustments, and gearbox maintenance to optimize machine performance.

Ensure all repairs and adjustments are performed with a focus on quality and long-term reliability

Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving

Quickly identify and resolve machine jams, misfeeds, registration issues, and other production interruptions.

Use diagnostic tools, blueprints, schematics, and PLC programs to troubleshoot issues efficiently.





Work closely with operators and production staff to understand machine issues and optimize equipment performance.

Computer Controls & PLC Troubleshooting

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HMIs, and other automated control systems.

Work with sensors, motor drives, and control circuits to ensure proper machine operation.

Assist in the modification, calibration, and programming of PLCs when needed.

Utilize computer-based diagnostics and industrial software tools to analyze and resolve equipment failures.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM & PdM)

Follow and improve preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to enhance equipment reliability.

Utilize predictive maintenance (PdM) techniques, including vibration analysis and thermal imaging.

Ensure proper documentation of maintenance work, equipment conditions, and recommended actions.

Commitment to 5S, Lean Manufacturing & Cleanliness

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace following 5S methodology.

Actively support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying and eliminating waste.

Promote a culture of efficiency, standardization, and continuous process improvement.

Ensure maintenance tasks are completed with minimal disruption to production flow.

Safety & Compliance

Strictly adhere to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and company safety procedures.

Conduct regular inspections of machinery, tools, and work areas for hazards.

Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and emergency preparedness drills.

Continuous Improvement & Professional Growth





Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.

Stay up to date with new maintenance technologies, lean principles, and industry best practices.

Mentor and support junior mechanics or apprentices in developing their technical skills

Your strengths as a Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Red Seal Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or packaging environment.

Solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Experience in troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HMIs, and automated control systems.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and computer-based maintenance programs & SAP.

Familiarity with 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles.

Commitment to quality, efficiency, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
