Job Description

As a Massage Therapist at Thompson Houston's spa, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage and bodywork treatments to our guests, ensuring an unforgettable and rejuvenating spa experience.



Your expertise and dedication to promoting relaxation and well-being will contribute to the overall success of our spa and hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of high-quality massage and bodywork techniques tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each guest.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of different massage modalities and their advantages to provide recommendations to guests.
- Ensure a tranquil and clean spa environment for each treatment.
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Ensure a seamless and relaxing experience from the moment the guest arrives until they depart.
- Personalize treatments to exceed guest expectations and provide a memorable spa experience.
- Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene protocols, including proper disinfection of equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure the safety of both guests and staff.
- Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and education in the field of massage therapy.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and techniques in the spa and wellness industry.

Qualifications

- Valid state or local massage therapy license and certification.




- A minimum of 1 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist, with a preference for previous luxury spa experience.
- Strong knowledge of various massage modalities and their benefits.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
