Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination and administration of Human Resources processes, procedures, functions and programs for the corporate facility with a hands-on approach; ensuring that this Human Resources role is viewed as a meaningful, constructive part of the organization; presenting as a role model for both management and line employees; willing and able to work closely with employees, interpreting policies, procedures and directives when/as needed. Maturity, self-motivation and self-confidence will be critical to this sole HR leadership role at this site.

Essential Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

Ensure all efforts are aligned with the overall strategic direction of the company and the Human Resources Department

Ensure overall compliance with HR policies, practices, guidelines, and all federal, state, and local laws. Understanding wage and hour, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and ACA.

Lead workforce planning and recruiting activities for non-exempt positions

Manage Workers’ Compensation needs of the site and interpret these policies for employees

Respond to all employee questions, concerns and issues and partner with team members when needed

Review, investigate, document and respond to manager and employees’ needs, concerns and questions to include, but not limited to, behavior/disciplinary issues, performance reviews, payroll, and attendance

Ensure department management is trained and complies with related policies and procedures for both the department and the company

Plan employee activities such as end-of-year celebrations, general facility events and external company activities

Create all site-specific employee notifications to include flyers and notices





Update all related Employee Relations reports and logs with site information

Oversee and take part in approved terminations/separations and ensure all follow-up paperwork is complete and has been submitted to the corporate facility

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Majoring in Human Resources or other related field

A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least 4 years of HR Generalist experience focusing on employee relations.

Advanced Excel skills, and general PC/ MS Office experience

Highly analytical, with passion for and knowledge of HR trends and use of data insights

Effective/proven decision making skills, including the ability to identify a potential situation or issue and deal with it appropriately and in a timely manner, both fairly and equitably

Strong organizational skills; detail and process oriented

Strength of character to pursue the HR excellence agenda and articulate this throughout the site

Desired Qualifications

Professional in Human Resources PHR or SHRM-CP

Knowledge of payroll programs and practices (ADP)

Experience in supporting a manufacturing, distribution and/or sales environments

Travel may be required.

Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 annually. This represents the good-faith estimate of the compensation range at the time of posting.





Actual pay will be based on job-related factors, which may include:

Geographic location

Education and qualifications

Job-related skills

Internal equity considerations

Applicable minimum wage laws

This position may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
