Role and Responsibiliti
esWe are seeking a full-tim e Electrical Engine e
r.
Reporting to the Director of Hardware Engineering in our Aquaculture System division, t he Electrical Engine er is responsible for designing and supporting embedded systems as part of the hardware engineering team. The candidate must be adept at the followi
ng:
Designing, documenting, testing and debugging embedded systems (hardware and firmware) as part of the product development process using standard lab equipment and to
ols.Performing analog and digital circuit design (op-amps, filters, signal conditioni
ng).Coding embedded firmware in C/
C++.Interfacing with other departments, such as Production, Procurement and Customer Support, to answer technical questions, support existing products, and troubleshoot identified probl
ems.Analyzing data to draw conclusions and make recommendati
ons.Learning new technologies to grow our product offer
ing.
Required Skills and Exper
ienceThree to five years of experience in the design/development/test of embedded sys
tems.Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timel




ines.Ability to collaborate with others and work in a team-based environ
ment.Flexibility to learn new skills and take on new tasks, including areas outside core area of exper
tise.Effective oral communications with strong technical writing sk
ills.
Edu
cationCandidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equiv
alent.

eation.Schematic capture using Altium or similar
tools.RTOS
coding.Bare-metal programming on MCUs (ARM Cortex-M, AVR, PIC
