Become a vital part of BayCare’s healthcare team as an Acute Physical Therapist Assistant. Operate at St. Joseph's Hospital and be part of a community-focused workplace dedicated to patient wellness.

As an Acute Physical Therapist Assistant at BayCare, you will deliver essential care by supporting treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists. Your role will focus on aiding patient mobility, documenting progress, and educating patients. Moreover, you will work collaboratively with a variety of health professionals to ensure safety and effective recovery during sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the implementation of treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and ADL mobility support




• Document patient progress and report to therapists
• Educate patients on exercises and recovery techniques
• Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Requirements:
• BLS certification and PTA licensure required
• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy mandatory
• Preferred 1 year in hospital or acute care setting
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for patient care and service excellence
