As a Cook reporting to the Culinary Manager, you will ensure that all meals meet our residents' nutritional needs and preferences. Your expertise in food handling and kitchen operations will help create a welcoming atmosphere at our retirement residences. You will be supported by a team that shares your passion for elevating the dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver meals for residents, guests, and staff
• Review menus and production sheets for proper meal preparation




• Ensure compliance with food handling techniques
• Conduct daily temperature audits on food storage
• Participate in menu planning for special occasions
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience with large quantity food preparation
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food regulations
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
• Willingness to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
