Take on a rewarding role with Enviros as a Family Support Practitioner, focusing on youth empowerment and guidance. This permanent position emphasizes working within the Passages Program to ensure the well-being and successful transitions of youths aged 12 to 17.
As a full-time practitioner, your role will involve managing youth cases with trauma-informed and culturally aware approaches. You will be responsible for providing daily support, ensuring safety, and building meaningful relationships with the youth. Your team-oriented work with families and support teams is crucial for achieving positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for youth
• Ensure a safe and nurturing living workplace
• Build rapport and trust with youth and families
• Document and report on youth progress and challenges
• Collaborate with external professionals and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Human Services required
• Experience in trauma-informed and strength-based practices
• Knowledge of recreational programming beneficial
• Standard First Aid and CPR C certifications
• Clear Class 5 driver’s license required
