In this role,you’ll be at the centre of keeping our community running smoothly - troubleshooting issues, maintaining our spaces to a high standard, and working under the direction of your Property Manager closely with residents, contractors and your teammates. This role is a live‑in position and requires residency in anon‑site, designated suite. This arrangement supports the hands‑on, responsive nature of the role and helps ensure seamless support for our household/team needs.

You will

Work directly with a Property Manager to ensure preventative maintenance is completed and supervise contractors/trades who are on site

Complete minor buildings repairs such as painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, minor electrical repairs, and assist janitorial duties as required

Conduct standard move in and move out inspections as required

Deliver an exemplary level of customer service by responding professionally and promptly to resident inquiries, greeting tenants, visitors and contractors

Complete daily inspections of the property’s common areas, building exterior and any amenities to ensure all are maintained to a high standard and move in and move out inspections as required

Conduct inspections of all utility and storage rooms, and ensure cleanliness

Complete monthly,



quarterly and annual building reports through Yardi

Oversee elevator bookings and ensure security is maintained during moves

Supervise the use of any amenity areas

Respond to and coordinate tenant repairs

Answer the building phone line on a rotation to resolve tenant concerns, and be on call for property emergencies

Program security fobs as required and ensure the property is safe and secure at all time

Ensure the Property Management Office and property interior and exterior are clean and tidy in conjunction with others

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including the RTA, Fire Codes, WCB, OH&S;

Attend staff meetings

Assist if needed at our other multi-family properties in the Metro Vancouver area.

Show suites to prospective tenants, evaluating candidates and providing feedback to the property manager.

Other duties as assigned.

You have

Minimum of 2 years residential maintenance experience

Understanding of BC Residential Tenancy Act and its application an asset

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Willingness to learn and the ability to work without direction – a self-starter

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word,



Excel and experience with Yardi Rent Café and Maintenance IQ is an asset.

Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000, per annum, depending on experience. As this is a live‑in position, you will be living in a brand-new suite (taxable benefit, further details to be provided during the interview).
