Summary
The preferred candidate will be responsible for working with Project Managers and project teams to ensure successful task execution while keeping the team organized so that field work can be performed in a cost-efficient and timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent education and experience in telecommunications projects)
Skilled in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and working effectively in a collaborative team environment with Project Managers and project teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suites
Microsoft Excel: Strong quantitative skills with the ability to design moderately complex spreadsheet solutions and database queries
Solid analytical skills with experience in compiling information into useful reports and presentations
Capable of delivering quick, but accurate, work (attention to detail is imperative)
Capacity to take initiative to see tasks and projects through to completion independently
Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot between tasks while managing time effectively to achieve project goals within stringent deadlines
Effectively communicate with all layers of stakeholders
Required travel for meetings and site visits
Maintain confidentiality
Canadian resident with necessary permit or citizenship to work in Canada
Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations/safety practices
Essential Functions
Collect and verify data from contractors to generate reports for upper management
Provide timely status updates and produce accurate forecasting to the Project Manager and project teams as required
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
Resolve and/or elevate issues in a timely fashion for successful completion of project
Serve as primary Point of Contact with external vendors on technical project matters
Maintain and update company databases/trackers
Coordination and tracking of contracts, Purchase Orders, submittals, and complete project close-out tasks
Month-end invoicing, including reconciling Purchase Orders across multiple vendors
Track, document, and maintain meeting minutes with external contractors
Attend status meetings and present site status reports
Other duties as required
