$6,000 per month base wage, plus 100% commission on own sales - over-ride on all sales people in the province
Role Description
The President role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for some work from home. The President will provide overall strategic leadership, set business priorities, and drive growth across the company’s 600 platforms in 15 North American countries.
Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing operations, financial performance, and budgets; guiding senior leaders; and aligning teams with the company’s vision and goals. The role involves developing partnerships, negotiating key agreements, and representing the organization with stakeholders, clients, and industry peers.
The President will also be responsible for fostering an inclusive culture, managing organizational change, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Proven executive leadership experience, including strategic planning, organizational management, and team leadership in a media, technology, or multi-platform workplace.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, P&L; management, and growth planning across diverse markets.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships, negotiate contracts, and represent the organization with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
Experience leading hybrid teams and managing change, with a focus on inclusivity, talent development, and performance management.
Knowledge of North American markets and regulatory environments; experience with video platforms, digital content, or broadcasting is an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is beneficial.
