Become an essential part of Lookout Housing and Health Society as a full time Accountant. This temporary role focuses on funder report analysis and financial review until April 30, 2027.

This Accountant position involves independent judgment in planning and executing complex financial analyses, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Your expertise will support adults facing housing challenges, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while juggling tight deadlines and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and evaluate financial business processes
• Prepare ad hoc reports, including cost and revenue analysis
• Maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures




• Assist with funder audits and CRA compliance
• Offer cross-training support for accounting functions

Requirements:
• Minimum of three years in diversified accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is required
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is an asset
• Demonstrated communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to manage a high workload effectively
