We are a well-established and growing organization seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our in-house Legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional who enjoys working closely with business leaders and supporting a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing legal documentation, supporting regulatory compliance, coordinating with external counsel, and helping the business effectively manage legal risk.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and organize legal documents, agreements, correspondence, and reports.
Assist with the preparation and administration of commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, and other legal documentation.
Maintain legal records, contract databases, and document management systems.
Monitor contract renewals, legal deadlines, and regulatory filing requirements.
Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, employment matters, regulatory issues, and corporate initiatives.
Support corporate governance activities, including maintaining corporate records and assisting with regulatory filings.
Assist with compliance initiatives and internal policy development.
Liaise with government agencies, insurance providers, and external partners as required.
Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive legal and business information.




Provide general legal and administrative support to the Legal department.
Qualifications
Paralegal diploma from an accredited institution.
Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate, commercial, or in-house legal environment.
Strong knowledge of Ontario legislation, legal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Experience reviewing and managing commercial contracts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management software.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting an in-house legal department.
Experience with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contract administration.
Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, logistics, construction, or other operational environments is considered an asset.
