Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join one of our busy collision repair facilities. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing mechanical components on vehicles that have been involved in collisions, ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

The successful candidate is a skilled technician who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works collaboratively with estimators, body technicians, painters, and production staff to ensure vehicles are safely restored and delivered on time.

Primary Objectives

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues resulting from collision damage

Complete mechanical repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Support the production team by ensuring vehicles are mechanically roadworthy prior to delivery

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, driveline, cooling, HVAC, and engine-related concerns

Perform mechanical repairs on collision-damaged vehicles according to OEM repair procedures

Remove and reinstall mechanical components as required to support body repairs





Conduct suspension, steering, and alignment inspections and repairs

Perform vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer and aftermarket scan tools

Complete pre- and post-repair vehicle scans when required

Perform wheel alignments or prepare vehicles for alignment services

Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify quality and proper operation

Identify additional mechanical damage and communicate findings to the estimator or production team

Work closely with body technicians and production staff to ensure repairs are completed efficiently

Maintain accurate repair documentation and complete work orders

Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and provincial safety regulations

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices

Participate in training to stay current with evolving vehicle technologies and repair procedures

Requirements

Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence

Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record

Experience working in a collision repair environment is considered a strong asset

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment and scan tools

Knowledge of ADAS systems and calibration requirements is considered an asset

Ability to interpret repair procedures and technical documentation

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality





Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
