Join Radius Recycling as an Outside Buyer, an outside sales role focused on purchasing scrap metals. This position emphasizes building relationships and maximizing profit through strategic sourcing.

Reporting to the Regional Accounts Manager, your primary goal will be to generate purchases of both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals within your territory. You will utilize your strong background in sales and account management to foster relationships with scrap metal dealers and other suppliers, acquiring various grades of metal.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and expand supplier relationships effectively
• Negotiate long-term contracts and prices
• Stay updated on market conditions and pricing strategies
• Facilitate protected and compliant work practices
• Prepare competitive bids in response to requests

Requirements:
• 5+ years of external sales experience
• Experience in the scrap industry preferred (5-10 years)
• Strong understanding of market dynamics
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing is ideal
